In a small town in Ireland, a teenage girl attempts to strangle a baby. Shortly after being called in to meet and analyze the girl, psychiatrist Jane Morton (Clarice Van Houten of BLACK BOOK and VALKYRIE) is convinced the young woman suffers from some sort of personality disorder. But when the troubled girl starts speaking to Jane in the voice of her recently deceased son, she may have to reconsider. Just when viewers think they have it pegged, this twist-filled thriller eludes predictability.

Abe Dale (Nathan Fillion) has a good job and a loving family - until one day his family is murdered in front of his eyes and in broad daylight by a man named Henry Caine (Craig Fairbrass) who then kills himself. But shortly afterwards he starts noticing white glows around people and learns these glows mean these people are about to die unless he saves them. Abe uses his new gift to it's full advantage and saves many lives- but he then learns that 'if you save a life, you are responsible for it' and as he goes digging deeper into the motives behind his family's killing and the full extent of his new-found powers, it takes him on a terrifying and apocalyptic journey into hell from which there will be no escape.

In the opening scenes, Maria is en route to collect an award on behalf of a good friend, Wilhelm Melchior. Melchior is the writer of a play named Maloja Snake, which was then made into a film starring Maria.
Maria is joined on this journey by her personal assistant and confident Val. The relationship between these two women is the focus throughout, and it’s expertly established for us in these opening sequences.
Dialogue between the pair overlaps, is interrupted by calls and sometime even hangs in the air as the topics up for discussion change and segue. There is an incredibly natural feel to their interchanges that comes from a great script performed by two fine actresses.
