Tony Naumovski (born 23 May 1977) is a (Macedonian-Australian) American, New York based actor. Naumovski was born in Sydney, Australia. He graduated in 2000 from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. He studied acting under Stefan Danailov. In 2003 he graduated from the Masters Program in Theatre at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. In 2005 Anna Strasberg (the late widow of Lee Strasberg) granted him a full scholarship for a year of training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. He made his professional debut in 1998 in DECAMERON (an adaptation of Giovanni Boccaccio’s masterpiece) and played one of the lead roles in a production of the Macedonian National Theater of Bitola as part of The Ohrid Summer Festival. Yediot Ahronot in 2005 wrote about him 'Naumovski is a very moving actor with a bright future' after seeing him in the title role of 'The Father' in the production of 'Retzach' by Hanoch Levin on Off- Broadway at 59E59 Theatres.
