Gregory John Lindsay AO was the Executive Director of the prominent Australian think tank the Centre for Independent Studies which he founded in 1976 when a young mathematics teacher in the western suburbs of Sydney. The Centre has grown to be one of the most influential think tanks in Australia and New Zealand.
