Joseph Salvador Marino (born January 23, 1953) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who has worked in the Vatican diplomatic service since 1988. He was named president of the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in October 2019 after representing the Holy See in Malaysia, East Timor, and Brunei for six years. Pope Francis appointed Marino as a member of the Dicastery for Evangelization on November 17. 2020.
