John Sung Shang Chieh (simplified Chinese: 宋尙节; traditional Chinese: 宋尙節; pinyin: Sòng Shàngjié; Wade–Giles: Sung Shang-chieh) (27 September 1901 – 18 August 1944) also John Sung, was a renowned Chinese Christian evangelist who played an instrumental role in the revival movement among the Chinese in Mainland China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia during the 1920s and 1930s.
