Scott Haze is an American actor and filmmaker. His breakout role was in the 2013 film, Child of God, where he played the role of Lester Ballard, sleeping in a cave for months and losing 45 pounds for his role in the adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel. Haze has appeared in films such as Thank You for Your Service, Midnight Special, and Only the Brave. His directorial debut, Mully, a documentary on the African humanitarian Charles Mully, was released in cinemas on October 3, 2017. Haze also owns a theater in North Hollywood, California, named the Sherry Theater, and is the co-artistic director and founder of the Rattlestick West theater company.
