Norman John Baker (born 26 July 1957) is a Liberal Democrat politician in the United Kingdom who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lewes in East Sussex from the 1997 general election until his defeat in 2015. On 7 October 2013, Baker was appointed Minister of State at the Home Office in the coalition government of 2010–15. He resigned from his role at the Home Office on 3 November 2014.
