The pack's menacing leader, Gabriel (Olivier Martinez), has designs on Vivian, and hopes to make her his next wife, while the rest of Vivian's "family" keeps a close watch on her every move. Vivian tries to keep her growing love a secret, but when Gabriel discovers that she has feelings for a human, he sets off a chain of events that threaten to destroy the pack - or change its bloodthirsty ways. Not her intense young student Cornelius (Sharrieff Pugh), who is writing a paper about the "innocence" of serial killer John Wayne Gacy. Not her disquieting former boyfriend John Graham (Kevin Bacon), who follows her every move. And definitely not Malloy, who now rouses not only her passion but also her suspicions. Fatefully, the independent Frannie cannot ask for help - grieved and terrified, she takes her survival into her own hands.
