An adaptation of the popular Japanese manga Battle Angel Alita. Set in the 26th century, Alita is a female cyborg that is discovered in a scrapyard by a scientist. With no memory of her previous life except her deadly martial-arts training, Alita becomes a bounty hunter, tracking down criminals.
Keira Knightley stars in this movie based on the life of Domino Harvey, the dangerously beautiful model-turned-bounty hunter. The daughter of actor Laurence Harvey and 'Vogue' model Paulene Stone, Domino gave up a career as a fashion model to track down drug dealers and murderers for a bail bonds company in South Central L.A. Unintimidated by the most hardened criminals, she was one of the best in the business; but her lifestyle had a price, landing her in legal trouble for drug trafficking and ending in her death of a drug overdose in June 2005. In the 1870s, sixteen-year-old Jay comes to America from Scotland to look up his first true love Rose. The lad is taken under his wing by certain Silas Selleck, a mysterious traveller who has seen it all. Milo Boyd, a down-on-his-luck bounty hunter, gets his dream job when he is assigned to track down his bail-jumping ex-wife, reporter Nicole Hurly (Jennifer Aniston).
