Short stories shot by four different directors on 8 mm film. The first story by Dmitry Ryabikov is a real field test for a feature which was done as experimental film about the Creation of the World. The second story is an action short by Dorji Galsanov about problems and understanding between two friends. The third one from Anton Bilzho, a teaser for upcoming thriller, is about love to invisible creature. And the fourth story by Anton Sokolov is about love to aliens - a logical final of all parts.
A happy young couple is getting ready for their wedding day in their quiet, calm hometown. Preparations are in full swing and spirits are high. The bride is trying on her gown again while the groom has finally, at the last minute, found the perfect place for the reception. A critique of the policies of Boris Yeltsin, it depicted the economic crisis that followed Russia's transition towards a free market economy, and with it, a lost generation, with no job security, who are pushed into a world of crime and rebellion. Despite a modest budget of US$700,000, and a limited cinematic release, it became a national hit in Russia as well its soundtrack, popularized by 'Seryoga's' (Серёга) music video "Чёрный Бумер" ("Black Bummer"). Both the film and its soundtrack have won awards, including the prestigious Golden Aries from the Russian Guild of Film critics.
