1941 At the border of Volokolamsk, after the fierce fight with the German army, the tank of the younger Lieutenant Ivuškin was destroyed, and he himself, along with the only surviving live tanker Vasilionoku, was taken captive.
After spending three terrible years at the concentration camp, Ivuškin decided to escape from concentration camp, taking with him a group of prisoners and young woman - interpreter who helped talk to two of his greatest enemies - a prisoner and German colonel Klaus Jeger.
One fine police precinct is about to be shut down. The cops that work there come up with a very bright idea of robbing the bank and then solving the crime, which would save their prestinct from shuting down. But of course, everything that could go wrong, goes wrong...

Duska is the imaginative story of Bob, who has the best part of his life behind him. He is addicted to film, has visited several festivals as a film critic and is now working on his own screenplay. His muse and inspiration is the attractive, young and unattainable cashier from the movie theatre across the street. But when Bob's desire for the girl finally becomes reality and she ends up at his house, a man named Duska suddenly appears at his door. The timing couldn't be worse. Bob had met this friendly loser once at a Russian film festival, and in a reckless mood had invited him to come and visit if he was in the neighbourhood. That was the worst thing he could have done; Duska is not about to leave Bob alone, resulting in an original tragicomedy full of surprising twists.

A gang of crooks robbing cash collectors, run into a police surveillance team and the inadequate police response results in a gunfight. A TV crew on assignment in the area happens to capture this humiliation on camera, and this example of police incompetence is soon the lead story in every news bulletin. Public confidence in law and order now suffers irreparable harm. The head of the Moscow force welcomes a public search-and-destroy operation against these thugs, the brainchild of Katya, his PR director.
