Carlos Davis (born James Carlos Davis; October 11, 1948) is an American screenwriter, film producer, playwright, and best selling novelist. He is best known for writing the 1991 cult comedy Drop Dead Fred, starring Rik Mayall and Phoebe Cates, and writing the national best selling novel, No Dawn For Men. Davis now resides in Manhattan.
