Graham Linehan () is an Irish television comedy writer and director who, often in partnership with Arthur Mathews, has written or co-written a string of successful television comedies. He is best known for creating or co-creating the sitcoms Father Ted, Black Books and The IT Crowd and the first series of Big Train. Amongst other projects, he has also written for Count Arthur Strong, Brass Eye and The Fast Show.
