A champion of American style, luxury and glamour, since 2001 she has collaborated with many of the world’s most famous actors, athletes, musicians and personalities — from Beyoncé, Rihanna, Janelle Monáe and Timothée Chalamet to Leo DiCaprio, Travis Scott, and Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner — to create memorable, blockbuster images and covers for GQ. As a visual storyteller, Weeks has partnered with some of the world’s top designers including Tom Ford, Miuccia Prada, Giorgio Armani, Kim Jones, Raf Simons, and Ralph Lauren, creating iconic images with influential photographers like Craig McDean, Mert & Marcus, Steven Klein, Inez & Vinoodh, Steven Meisel, and Cass Bird for shoots in GQ as well as many brands, across print, broadcast, digital, and other platforms, as well as live events. Weeks studied Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design and The Fashion Institute of Technology. She lives and works in New York and Los Angeles. Weeks began her career as a fashion designer, working for Ralph Lauren in design and advertising, a position that included styling advertising campaigns. She went on to work with the designer Zoran, where she managed the company and oversaw design, retail, as well as production and publicity. Later, Weeks created costumes for independent films, designed official pilot and crew uniforms for Michael Eisner’s corporate jet, and helped relaunch Coach in 1997. She also created memorable print and broadcast advertising campaigns for iconic brands including Netflix, Adidas, Rolex, Mercedes, Clinique, Tommy Hilfiger and Levis. Weeks continues to design and style iconic looks for the Jonas Brothers world tour, photo shoots for Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ, among others. She has created her own design & consulting business using her keen editorial and design ability to collaborate with talent in multiple artistic disciplines. She designed the costumes for David Byrne’s world tour in 2008, styled music videos, including Mark Ronson’s production of the Amy Winehouse hit “Valerie,” The Foo Fighters, “Shame”, and styled major television and print advertising campaigns and personal image-making for celebrities like Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Simon and Hannah Gadsby. In 2020, Weeks created a luxury eco-friendly collection of ethically sustainable faux fur coats, called First By Madeline, made in Los Angeles. The company partners with the Humane Society to protect and preserve wildlife around the world and works with thoughtfully engineered mills that use green technology. This limited collection is sold online and made to order only. Of the brand, Weeks says, "First By Madeline is inspired by the past, while using cutting edge technology in recycled and plant based materials, celebrating the animals I want to give something back to." The company’s motto is "Wear Our Coats Not Theirs."
