Dawn Marie Adams is a Delegate in the Virginia House of Delegates. She was also a nurse practitioner, small business owner, former Director for the Office of Integrated Health at the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, former Health Policy adjunct faculty at Old Dominion University. Adams is Virginia's first openly lesbian member of the Virginia General Assembly.Adams was elected in November 2017 to represent Virginia's 68th House of Delegates district representing parts of northern Chesterfield County, Richmond city, and Henrico County.
