David Campos (born September 28, 1970), is an attorney and former member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors representing San Francisco's District 9 (Bernal Heights, Portola, and the Inner Mission) from 2008 to 2016 when he termed out. His reelection in 2012 made him one of only two LGBT San Francisco supervisors. In 2014, Campos ran for the California State Assembly seat in the 17th District (eastern half of San Francisco), but lost to David Chiu. On March 13, 2017, Campos was appointed as a Deputy County Executive for Santa Clara County.
