Bharat Nalluri is a film and television director, who came to the fore directing the pilot episodes of Spooks (also known as MI-5), Life on Mars, and Hustle (which he also helped to conceive) all for transmission on BBC One. Spooks won the BAFTA for Best Drama Series. Life on Mars gave Nalluri a BAFTA-nomination for Directing, it went on to win the International Emmy for Best Drama Series. Hustle garnered Nalluri a Director's Guild of Great Britain nomination for Best Director.
