John Noel William "Sam" Newman (born 22 December 1945) is an Australian media executive and radio and television personality living in Melbourne, who was an AFL football player for the Geelong Football Club and briefly had a career in motor racing. He is an original presenter on The Footy Show, with Eddie McGuire when the show started in 1994.
