Megan Hayes is an American actress born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Her father, John Hayes, was a Southern Baptist minister and a professor at Emory University. Her mother Sarah Hall worked as an editor. Hayes is the youngest of three children. Hayes was in several world theatre premieres in Atlanta and also played Annie Sullivan in the Alliance Theatre’s production of The Miracle Worker. She is also a playwright; her piece Opelika had two sold-out productions in New York. Likewise, in 2013, her play Unnecessary Monsters won the Suzi Bass Award for best Theatre for Young Audiences Production in Atlanta. Hayes appeared in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, portraying the female morphling, commonly referred to as "The Girl who Saved Peeta". She can be seen in the Fox show Sleepy Hollow as Dana Dobbs, the HBO series Eastbound & Down as Gloria, and the feature film Meet the Browns as Connie.
