Maya Sondhi is a British television actress and screenwriter. She was born in Birmingham, England. Whilst studying for her A-levels, she became interested in acting, attending the Midlands Arts Centre and then spending three weeks with the National Youth Theatre before going on to study at LAMDA. She has one child.She is mainly known for her roles in Citizen Khan, Fedz, Family Affairs and Line of Duty.
