Michele L. Norris ( MEE-shel NOR-iss; born September 7, 1961) is an American radio journalist and former host of the National Public Radio (NPR) evening news program All Things Considered, which she joined on December 9, 2002. She is also a member of the Peabody Awards board of directors, which is presented by the University of Georgia's Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. She was the first African-American female host for National Public Radio (NPR).
