Jared X. Van Snellenberg (b. Dec. 26, 1980, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is a former child actor and now an academic working in the United States. Van Snellenberg is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Stony Brook University School of Medicine.He is best known for his role as Adam Sandler's first caddy in Happy Gilmore. His academic work primarily involves functional neuroimaging research into working memory in schizophrenia, and the development and use of techniques for meta-analysis.
