Gordon Glover "Slinger" Dunn (April 16, 1912 – July 26, 1964) was an American discus thrower who won a silver medal at the 1936 Summer Olympics. Earlier in 1934 he won the NCAA and IC4A titles.Later in life, Dunn became mayor of Fresno, California (1949–57) and qualified for the nickname "No-Fun Dunn" because of his zest in leading raids on bordellos and gambling dens. He loved going to fires and police happenings, and had both red lights and a siren on his personal vehicle. In 1964, Gordon Dunn was inducted into the Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame.
