Patrick Mullins

Patrick Michael Mullins (born February 5, 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Major League Soccer club Toronto FC. He previously appeared for Baton Rouge Capitals and New Orleans Jesters at the semi-professional level, and for New England Revolution, New York City FC, D.C. United, and Columbus Crew SC at the professional level. Born in New Orleans, Mullins played for the Baton Rouge Capitals while in high school, then committed to play collegiately at the University of Maryland. He was a two-time Hermann Trophy winner while with the Terrapins, and played for the New Orleans Jesters in the collegiate offseason. The New England Revolution selected Mullins in the first round of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, and he helped the club reach MLS Cup 2014 in his rookie season. He then joined New York City FC through the 2014 MLS Expansion Draft, before being traded to D.C. United midway through the 2016 Major League Soccer season. Mullins scored a career-high 13 goals in parts of three seasons with D.C., but was then traded midway through the 2018 Major League Soccer season, this time to Columbus Crew SC. He would be on the move again a year later, being traded to Toronto FC after scoring just one goal for the Crew.
