In October 1991, a confluence of weather conditions combined to form a killer storm in the North Atlantic. Caught in the storm was the sword-fishing boat Andrea Gail. Magnificent foreshadowing and anticipation fill this true-life drama while minute details of the fishing boats, their gear and the weather are juxtaposed with the sea adventure.
Liam Neeson leads an unruly group of oil-rig roughnecks when their plane crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. Battling mortal injuries and merciless weather, the survivors have only a few days to escape the endless snow and ice. But it turns out that the arctic climate is not the only danger that the plane crash victims will have to deal with. While looking for their way back to civilization, they are about to face a vicious pack of bloodthirsty wolves who come hunting after them. A dramatic surviving battle starts in which there can be only one winner.
