This is the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created.
Ruby (Jean Reno) has only one thing on his mind: to avenge the death of the woman he loved at the hand of a criminal. Quentin (Gérard Depardieu) has very few things on his feeble mind. He's at once exceedingly friendly and nice and dumb enough for the record books.
The two men's destinies will cross, the tough guy consumed by murder and the feeble who talks to the angels.
