From the time he was a puppy Trouble has lived a lavish life. But after his wealthy owner passes away, Trouble finds himself alone, lost, and in search of a way back home. In animated 3D, THE NUT JOB is an action-packed comedy in fictional Oakton that follows the travails of Surly, a mischievous squirrel, and his rat friend Buddy, who plan a nut store heist of outrageous proportions and unwittingly find themselves embroiled in a much more complicated and hilarious adventure.
Following the events of the first film, Surly and his friends must stop Oakton City's mayor from destroying their home to make way for a dysfunctional amusement park.
