Spencer Aimes (Kutcher) is just your average, undercover, government-hired super-assassin accustomed to a life of exotic European locales, flashy sports cars and even flashier women. But when he meets Jen Kornfeldt (Heigl), a beautiful, fun-loving computer tech recovering from a bad break-up, he finds true love...and happily trades international intrigue for domestic bliss. Three years later, Spencer and Jen are still enjoying a picture-perfect marriage - that is, until the morning after Spencer's 30th birthday. That's when Spencer and Jen learn he's the target of a multi-million dollar hit. But in the process discovers that he has the ability to go back in time and alter the past. But everytime he changes something, it goes wrong. Which, on a personal note, makes the tagline work well. Emma and Adam decides to forego the emotional muddle of a relationship and just be friends with benefits. No commitment, no lying, no jealousy, no clothed spooning, no emoticons, no shared breakfast, no “I miss you,” no body part nicknames, no mix tapes…in short, “No Strings Attached.” What starts out as a perfect solution to physical need becomes a little more tricky—when Adam inadvertently brings his feelings to bed (and to the hospital closet, the back seat of the car and just about anywhere that provides horizontal support). Eventually, both wind up trying to untangle the strings they were trying to avoid altogether while struggling to answer one key question: can two friends have sex without love getting in the way? Starring: Natalie Portman, Ashton Kutcher, Cary Elwes, Kevin Kline Directed by: Ivan Reitman
